Monday, October 30, 2017, was my first working day at Payt. I already had some work experience, but Payt was my first serious job.
After four years of study, I could apply everything I had learned in practice. At least, that’s what I thought. During the first weeks at the office, it was made clear to me that I was only now going to truly learn something. At that time, I was still working at one table with Aziz, Rob, Merijn, Sander, and Jelger. This was incredibly educational, but as a rookie, I was also an easy target. Sometimes I was taken down a peg and often part of a joke.
Now, six years later, I still hold the same position. Every day, I still go to work with great pleasure. It’s wonderful to work for a growing organization, where new markets are regularly explored, and we have a fantastic product. I see my work as diverse and challenging, and my goal is to let everyone experience how great our product is!
