Five years ago (01-12-2018), I started as an implementation specialist at Payt. From my first day at work, I have never gone to work reluctantly.
As an implementation specialist, I am responsible for the onboarding process of new clients who will be working with Payt. Once they have signed the contract, I step in to guide them to the moment of going live with Payt. During this process, I assist with the setup of Payt, inventorying their needs, and providing a (short) training session.
The opportunities for growth within Payt have allowed me to focus on other tasks besides implementation. For our existing clients, I conduct webinars on how Payt works, Q&A sessions, and an annual feature update event. Additionally, I am involved in optimizing the customer journey and internal marketing. I am always working on new ideas that I want to realize together with my colleagues from marketing (sometimes to the frustration of those same colleagues, who have now renamed the paper shredder to Maarten’s idea box).
We have a great team of people where everyone is empowered. In my opinion, this is the strength behind Payt’s success. We create top-notch software, collaborate well, have a lot of responsibility, and there is plenty of room for relaxation. Every year, we run the 4 miles, have traveled together, and attended fun events. When you don’t feel like you’re working, I believe you have the best workplace you could wish for. I’m not leaving here anytime soon (sorry colleagues:)).
