Danielle: “Originally, our accounts receivable management was handled through our own ERP system and customer database, as it was linked to our accounting package. Due to various acquisitions, this was no longer possible, and for a few months, we sent reminders via Exact, but it was very difficult to track. There was a need for a package where we could monitor everything effectively.”
“The downside of how we used to do it was that we didn’t have a general overview of the total outstanding and overdue invoices or what stage they were in (1st reminder or 2nd, etc.). As a result, this wasn’t tracked well, leading to many customers not paying on time, and there were a lot of overdue invoices.”
The main reason for Cleanpoint to work with Payt was to have everything under one roof. Danielle: “The tracking, merging all branches into one package, and not having to switch between different environments. There was no longer a connection possible with our accounting system Exact and our ERP system, which meant we couldn’t track which invoices had been paid and which hadn’t in our ERP system.”
Cleanpoint quickly experiences the benefits of Payt’s software. Danielle: “The automatic sending of emails is one such benefit; previously, we had to set everything up manually. Additionally, it is very user-friendly and clear, allowing you to quickly find something using various data (name, invoice number, customer number) via the search bar. A lot can also be customized. The support and chat respond super quickly and have been very helpful!”
Danielle indicates that since using Payt, some successes have been achieved: “Invoices from the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024 have still been paid. There has been a cleanup of outstanding overdue invoices.”
