Two years ago, Gerrit Jan Dannijs – Managing Director and pharmacist – started using Payt for his pharmacies. “It saves a lot of time in the pharmacy!
Gerrit Jan Dannijs has been a pharmacist all his life. Over the years, he has built up an impressive group of pharmacies. “It’s precisely the combination of healthcare and entrepreneurship that keeps me enjoying my profession so much.”
From manual to digital invoicing
Previously, Gerrit Jan managed debtor administration via the AIS (Pharmacy Information System), and only later was a basic version of paperless invoicing introduced. Gerrit Jan: “To get invoices paid, we would call our customers or visit them with their paper invoice.” With the implementation of Payt, this entire process has been digitalised. Invoices and, if necessary, reminders are automatically followed up. Additionally, customers can communicate with the pharmacy via the Payt communication portal if, for example, they would like to arrange a payment plan. “This saves a lot of time in the pharmacy,” says Gerrit Jan.
State-of-the-art financial administration
“Now that we work with Payt, 90% of invoices are paid within three days.” “Thanks to the convenient iDEAL payment button in the invoices, communication via the Payt platform, and the consistent automated reminders (if necessary, even the debt collection process), it is made easy for the customer to pay quickly.” Gerrit Jan: “Our financial administration, I must say, is state-of-the-art.”
Payt ambassador
The successes Gerrit Jan has achieved with Payt have been so significant that he also shares his experience with other pharmacies. “Personally, I really enjoy having been able to introduce several colleagues as customers to Payt, entirely without self-interest. They are all very enthusiastic as well.”
