GRONINGEN – The company Payt was declared the best Groningen start-up on Thursday evening, aiming to conquer the internet.
Payt enables companies to manage customer payments via the internet, including difficult customers, eliminating the need for expensive collection agencies.
Sophisticated strategy. The company, with thirteen employees, impressed the jury with a sophisticated strategy that has already garnered 6,000 customers.
According to Payt’s director Merijn Stapert, there is a great demand for their product. The jury did see challenges for international expansion due to different collection rules abroad, but these difficulties are manageable. Besides a large trophy, Stapert also received a check for 2,500 euros.
