Printshopz is a printing company that serves both B2B and B2C customers. All orders are produced in-house in a production hall of approximately 4,000 square meters. Printshopz delivers not only in the Netherlands but also in Germany and Belgium. Since February 2021, they have been using Payt for automating their accounts receivable management. Thom van Ommen: “We are also using Payt’s software for our German GmbH.”
From Negligent Behavior to Efficiency
Thom: “Previously, we managed accounts receivable manually through Exact Online. As a result, invoice processing was sometimes neglected during busy periods.” “After implementing Payt’s software, the team now consists of just one person handling accounts receivable, taking at most 0.3 FTE per week to manage.”
Reasons to Work with Payt
The main reasons for Printshopz to choose Payt were:
- The process became fully automated;
- An iDEAL payment button can be included with every invoice and reminder;
- They can have direct contact with their debtors through the communication portal within Payt;
- And there is an automatic connection with various collection agencies.
Thom: “The payment term has significantly decreased!” “This is mainly due to the iDEAL link that is sent, allowing our customers to pay invoices quickly and easily.”
Customer Reactions
“Our customers find Payt very convenient and professional.” “They can see exactly which invoices are still outstanding in their customer portal and can also easily pay the invoices from there,” says Thom. Initially, it was a bit of a search for the right workflow for Printshopz. “At first, we occasionally received comments that the invoice was sent very quickly.” “Fortunately, we were able to solve this by adjusting the workflow slightly, so invoices are now sent with a 2-day delay,” says Thom.
The Implementation Process of Payt
What Thom also noticed is that the implementation process of Payt went very quickly. Thom: “The implementation of Payt took us at most 1.5 days, which is extremely fast for a software implementation!”
